Emergency Alert v2.0.0.0 released!
It’s here at last! The long awaited headless (full background) version of Emergency Alert. It’s available now for download from the BlackBerry App World. As for the changes… Headless/Background support No need to leave the app open to process alerts any more! With the app closed, messages will be filtered and rules will fire. To dismiss the alert, press the pause media key, or launch the app to dismiss the dialog….
Emergency Alert sounds not working after 10.2.1 update?
I’ve had a couple of reports stating that after their devices were upgraded to 10.2.1 software, that the sound alerts for Emergency Alert stop functioning after a small amount of time. I’m currently investigating, and it seems like this should be fixed in the latest release (v2.0), which should be available soon. Workaround If you are currently experiencing this issue, please delete and re-install the application. So far everyone that has re-installed have reported success. Unfortunately at this time there is no support for backing up rules, which means they will need to be recreated. Rule backup/restore will be available…
